Monday Math Game - Money Scoot

Today’s featured game is from Scooting Through Second, who specializes in the game "Scoot", a simple, quick and fun game that I'm sure students will love. What a great way to get your students moving while working! Level 1 to this game is offered as a FREEBIE!

Grade Level:
Grades 1, 2, 3

Materials Needed:
  • 24 cards from printables, laminated
  • answer board for each student
How to Play the Game

Place one card on each student's desk.  Give each student an answer board. Explain that each block on the answer board corresponds with the card that has that number on it. At each seat, students work out the problem and write their answer in the right block on their answer sheet.  When time is up (determined by the teacher), say "Scoot!"  Students move to the next seat and start the process over.  Go until the students have all had a chance to answer each question and are back in their original seat.

If you enjoy this freebie from Scooting Through Second, visit their Teachers Pay Teachers store for different levels of this entertaining game and be sure to "like" their Facebook fan page Scooting Through Second!
